Exhilarating acceleration

The various summer toboggan rides in the region let you experience rapid downhill runs in the beautiful landscape. If you prefer to take the wheel and determine your own path, the ZirbenCart track on the Hochzeiger is just the spot for you.

Fisser Flitzer

The Fisser Flitzer scores with a speed of up to 45km/h. Fast straights and action-packed bends ensure fun and excitement on the 2.2 km descent.

Alpine Coaster

The Imster Alpine Coaster is the longest Alpine coaster in the world. Pure adrenaline awaits you on the 3.5 km track. The track is also perfect for children, either as passengers with their parents or, if they are big enough, in their own sled.

Zirbencarts

On the Hochzeiger in Pitztal, the pine carts are a highlight for young and old. Children may use the mountain carts from a height of 150 cm and an age of 14 years. This downhill action is the perfect change in every holiday programme.

Starkenbach Panorama Trail

A little insider tip from the locals is the Starkenbach panorama trail. This trail at low altitude is ideal for an easy hike. After the initial ascent, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the beautiful Inn valley all the way to the Tschirgant.

Milsberg – Gunglgrün

Another scenic hike that is perfect for families is the tour from Mils to Gunglgrün or vice versa. This route is classed as an easy hikes and is suitable for any age.

Rosengartenschlucht Gorge

One of the most famous natural jewels in our region is the Rosengartenschlucht Gorge near Imst. The hike starts in the middle of the town and leads through the picturesque gorge upwards to Hoch-Imst. As a special highlight, you can explore the Blue Grotto at the end of the route.

Starkenberg Panorama Trail

The vacation home is located directly on the Starkenberg Panorama Trail. That means you can take the hike in both directions from Apart Alp Line, either to Zams or to Imst. The trail is divided into 7 segments, so you can decide how far you want to walk.

Nature reserve Milser Au

For a leisurely evening or morning stroll you don’t have to look far. Right in Milser Au is a beautiful and impressive nature reserve. Strollers can be taken along the trail as well.

Mils – Larsenntal/Steinseehütte

Starting from Mils, this idyllic hike into the Larsenntal valley is a lovely option. Face the (small) challenge and tackle the elevation gain. You will be rewarded with a unique terrain and a fascinating view in the Larsenntal.

For Thrill Seekers

Bungee Jumping
3,2,1 jump. This is not for the faint of heart, but it is an experience that you will definitely not forget anytime soon. The Benni Raich Bridge, named after the famous Tyrolean skier, is the highest pedestrian bridge in Austria at 94 m (308 ft). Of course, this incredible height makes it perfect for a bungee jump, ideal to get your adrenaline fix.

Paragliding
The best view is always from up above, so how about a seat in the clouds? Paragliding is a special mix of adrenaline and awe, providing lasting memories.

Area 47
Area 47 at the entrance to the Ötztal valley is the number one destination for adrenaline junkies. Enjoy the thrill of height on Mega Swing and Flying Fox, or try wakeboarding and other fun watersports. You can prove your skills and try daring stunts.

Looking for a climbing vacation? Then you definitely need to add the Sonnendeck in Imst to your itinerary. Just the sight of the outdoor climbing structure makes climbers’ hearts beat faster. An almost unlimited network of routes at various difficulty levels is waiting for you.

– Bouldering in Pitztal valley

Pitztal offers you numerous opportunities for vertical adventures. 180 bouldering rock routes of varying difficulty await you. Regardless if you are a beginner or pro, or simply want to have family fun, everyone will find their personal favorite boulder in the extensive area.

– Leite via ferrata in Nassereith

If you prefer via ferratas, Imst outdoor region is still the place for you. One of our recommendations is the Leite via ferrata in Nassereith. It is considered relatively easy, but offers a beautiful view of the picturesque Gurgltal valley.

Pasture zoo & Family Park

Near the Latschenhütte in Imst is the small Pasture zoo, where native animals live in a species-appropriate enclosure. The zoo gives children the opportunity to experience and get to know the animals up close. Action lovers should visit the Family Park next to the lower terminus. The bungee trampoline, sandbox, slide and electric trial bikes offer tons of fun and excitement.

Murmli & Berta

Groundhog Murmli & cow Berta are the mascots of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region. They stand for fun and adventure for our youngest guests. Numerous attractions such as the Fiss Summer Fun Park, Thomas Brezina’s Pirate Trail, or the Hög Adventure Park form memories for a lifetime.

Zirbenpark Hochzeiger

The Zirbenpark in Hochzeiger lets children experience nature in its purest form.. The stone pine (Zirbe) is one of the most important trees in our region and the Zirbenpark pays tribute to it. You can find a Zirbenkugel climbing tree, Zirben marble runs, the ZirbenWasser water playground and much more.

Sunny Mountain Adventure Park

Summer, sun, games, and fun. The Sunny Mountain Park features a petting zoo, a low ropes course, an alpine museum, and numerous other highlights to discover.

“Gheart und Derzehlt”

Legends have a long tradition in Tyrolean culture and continue to shape it today. “Gheart und Derzehlt” (heard and told) is the motto of a very special themed trail in Imst. Equipped with a small guide, you have the opportunity to hike from tale to tale and watch the sometimes scary, sometimes adventurous stories.

Haiming forest swimming pool

The Haiminger Waldbad forest swimming pool is the perfect place for people looking for peace and quiet, as well as for families with small children. The spacious sunbathing area is large enough for everyone to find their own private space and enjoy the day in a relaxed way.

Blindsee

A natural lake with turquoise-blue water usually only found in the Caribbean, Blindsee is nestled between steep rock walls and beautiful forests. In summer it reaches up to 24 °C (75 °F) and is therefore a swimmer’s paradise in the Alps.

Imst Outdoor Pool

Imst’s outdoor pool is perfect for your family vacation. There are separate pools, slides, a playground, and a beach volleyball court for children. Adults can enjoy the large pool with swimming lanes or take a relaxing break at the buffet.

Piburger See

Moss-green water reflecting the magnificent surrounding mountains, crystal clear air, and a unique panorama. Lake Piburger See amid ancient forests is a true gem of nature.

Area 47

Area 47 is not only an adventure paradise for daredevils, but also for water lovers and sun worshippers. On 20,000 square meters (215,000 sq.ft.) you can enjoy Blobbing from a huge inflated pillow, become a human Cannonball, or jump off a water ramp for lots of fun. Of course there are also slides, diving platforms, and much more.

Biking

Imster Almenrunde round trip

Visit alpine chalets along tarmac, gravel, and forest roads. The Almenrunde alpine round first leads to the rustic Latschenhütte, where a stop for refreshments is definitely worthwhile. Next it goes down to the Untermarkter Alm, where you have another opportunity to treat yourself to some Tyrolean delicacies. Enjoy the view before descending into the valley.

Bike tour to Kronburg Castle via the Starkenberg Panorama Trail

The extended bike tour to the impressive Kronburg castle is a journey into the past. This tour is somewhat demanding, but the effort is definitely worth it.

Starting point Mils

You can choose from a variety of easy to more difficult bike tours starting right at the Alp Line home. Relax and enjoy the panorama on the way to Tramserhof, along the Ötztaler Ache, or going towards Happi’s Hütte.
